Discovering Influencers
EZTalent's discovery feature helps you find the perfect influencers for your campaigns. Our privacy-first approach means you can browse creators based on their metrics and expertise without seeing personal information until a campaign is active.
Privacy-First Discovery
EZTalent protects influencer privacy while still giving brands the information they need to make decisions:

Filter Options
Use filters to narrow down your search and find influencers that match your campaign needs:
Platform Filter
Filter by the social media platform where you want content posted:
- Instagram - Posts, Stories, Reels
- TikTok - Videos, Stories
- YouTube - Long-form videos, Shorts
Category Filter
Filter by content niche and expertise. Available categories include:
Fashion, Beauty, Fitness, Travel, Food
Technology, Gaming, Software, Gadgets
Comedy, Music, Dance, Art, Photography
Finance, Business, Health, Parenting, DIY
Full category list: Fashion, Beauty, Fitness, Health, Travel, Food, Lifestyle, Tech, Gaming, Finance, Business, Education, Entertainment, Music, Art, Photography, Sports, Automotive, Home, Parenting, Pets, Comedy, Dance, DIY, Sustainability, Plus Size, Luxury, Budget, Minimalist, Vintage, Streetwear, Outdoor, Wellness, Mental Health, Skincare, Haircare, Makeup, Nail Art.
Follower Count Filter
Filter by audience size tier:
| Tier | Follower Range | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Nano | 1K - 10K | High engagement, niche audiences, authentic recommendations |
| Micro | 10K - 50K | Strong engagement, specific niches, cost-effective |
| Mid-Tier | 50K - 500K | Good reach and engagement balance, established credibility |
| Macro | 500K - 1M | Wide reach, brand awareness campaigns |
| Mega | 1M+ | Maximum reach, major campaigns, celebrity status |
Studies show that nano and micro-influencers often have higher engagement rates (3-6%) compared to mega-influencers (1-2%). Consider working with multiple smaller creators instead of one large account.
Location Filter
Filter by the influencer's geographic location:
- Country - Select specific countries
- Region - North America, Europe, Asia, etc.
An influencer's location affects their audience demographics. A US-based influencer will typically have a primarily US audience. Consider this when targeting specific markets.
Price Filter
Filter by the influencer's rate per content type:
- Minimum price - Set a floor for your budget
- Maximum price - Set a ceiling to stay within budget
- Price range - Quickly select common budget ranges

Sending Campaign Invitations
Once you find influencers you'd like to work with, here's how to invite them to your campaign:
Step-by-Step Process
- Create your campaign first - Have a funded campaign ready (see Creating Campaigns)
- Browse the Discover page - Use filters to find matching influencers
- Click on a profile - Review their details
- Click "Invite to Campaign" - Opens the campaign selection dialog
- Select your campaign - Choose from your funded campaigns
- Add a personal message (optional) - Explain why you think they're a good fit
- Send invitation - The influencer will be notified
You can only invite influencers to campaigns that have been funded via escrow. This protects influencers by ensuring payment is secured before they commit to work.
What Happens After You Invite
- The influencer receives a notification about your campaign
- They can view your brand profile (company name, logo, description)
- They can review campaign details (budget, deliverables, requirements)
- They have 7 days to accept or decline
- If accepted, the campaign becomes ACTIVE and you'll see their full profile
- If declined, you can invite another influencer
Best Practices for Finding Influencers
Define Your Goals First
Before searching, clarify what you want to achieve:
- Brand awareness - Prioritize reach (higher follower counts)
- Engagement - Prioritize engagement rate (often micro-influencers)
- Conversions - Prioritize niche relevance and trust
- Content creation - Prioritize content quality and style
Look Beyond Follower Count
- Engagement rate matters more - 5% engagement on 10K followers beats 0.5% on 100K
- Audience quality - Are their followers real and engaged?
- Content consistency - Do they post regularly and maintain quality?
- Brand alignment - Does their style match your brand?
Consider Your Budget Wisely
- Multiple micro-influencers - Often better than one macro-influencer
- Match budget to deliverables - More content types = higher budget
- Factor in platform fees - Remember the 15% platform fee
- Leave room for negotiation - Some influencers may counter-offer
Evaluate Profile Quality
- High completion rate - Look for 90%+ campaign completion
- Good ratings - 4+ stars from previous brands
- Fast response time - Indicates professionalism
- Detailed bio - Shows they take their work seriously
Personalize Your Outreach
When sending campaign invitations, include a personal message:
- Explain why you chose them specifically
- Mention something about their content style you admire
- Briefly describe why your product fits their audience
- Be professional but friendly
"Hi! We love your content style and think your audience would really connect with our new summer collection. Your focus on sustainable fashion aligns perfectly with our brand values. We'd love to work together on this campaign!"
Saving and Organizing Influencers
Tips for managing your influencer search:
- Save your search filters - Bookmark searches you run frequently
- Create a shortlist - Note Creator IDs of promising influencers
- Track past partnerships - Keep records of successful collaborations
- Review regularly - New influencers join the platform regularly
Troubleshooting Discovery
No Results Found
If your search returns no results:
- Broaden your filters (remove some criteria)
- Adjust price range (may be too narrow)
- Check for rare category combinations
- Try different platform options
Too Many Results
If you're overwhelmed by results:
- Add more specific filters
- Narrow the follower range
- Add location filters
- Sort by completion rate or rating
