Profile Setup

Your EZTalent profile is basically your storefront - it's how brands discover you and decide whether to work with you. A complete, well-crafted profile gets more campaign offers. A half-finished one gets scrolled past. Let's make yours stand out.

Where to Find Your Profile

Go to your Dashboard and click Profile in the sidebar. You can edit everything there anytime.

The Profile Photo

This is the first thing brands see. Make it count.

Technical Requirements

What Makes a Good Profile Photo

Think about what you'd want to see if you were a brand looking to hire someone:

What to Avoid

Remember: Brands are looking for someone to represent their product. They want to see who you actually are.

Writing Your Bio

Your bio is your elevator pitch. You've got maybe 5 seconds to grab a brand's attention and make them want to learn more.

Keep It Short and Punchy

Aim for 100-300 characters. Not words - characters. Nobody reads walls of text.

What to Include

  1. What you create

Lead with your niche. "Fitness content creator" or "Home cooking enthusiast" tells brands immediately if you're relevant to them.

  2. What makes you different

Everyone says they're a "lifestyle influencer." What's YOUR angle? "Budget-friendly apartment living" or "Plant-based recipes for busy parents" is way more memorable.

  3. A hint about your audience

Brands care about who follows you. "My audience is mostly women 25-35 interested in sustainable fashion" helps them know if there's a match.

Bio Examples That Work

Fashion Creator

"Affordable style tips and thrift finds for women who want to look good without breaking the bank. 45K followers who love a good deal."

Fitness Creator

"No-gym-needed workouts for busy professionals. I help people stay fit when they don't have time for the gym. 60K followers getting stronger at home."

Food Creator

"30-minute family dinners that kids actually eat. Real recipes for real life - no fancy ingredients, no stress."

Tech Creator

"Making tech make sense. Honest reviews and tutorials that don't assume you're already an expert. 80K subscribers who trust my recommendations."

Your Social Handles

This is where you connect your accounts. Be accurate - brands will look you up.

Platform What to Enter Tips
Instagram Your username (no @ symbol) Make sure it's your creator account, not personal
TikTok Your username (no @ symbol) Use the same handle you use publicly
YouTube Your channel URL Use your custom URL if you have one

Follower Counts

You'll enter your follower count for each platform. Be honest - brands can check. Update these regularly (at least once a month) as you grow.

Don't Inflate Your Numbers

Brands will verify your follower counts. If your profile says 100K but your Instagram shows 50K, that's a bad look. Just be accurate.

Choosing Your Categories

Categories are how brands find you. Pick the ones that actually match your content.

How to Choose

Category Examples by Niche

If You Post About... Good Categories to Pick
Makeup tutorials, skincare routines Beauty & Skincare
Workout videos, gym content Fitness & Health
Recipes, cooking tips Food & Cooking
OOTD, fashion hauls Fashion & Style
Gaming streams, game reviews Technology & Gaming
Travel vlogs, destination content Travel & Adventure
Parenting tips, family life Parenting & Family

Setting Your Rates

This is where you tell brands how much you charge for different types of content. You can set rates for:

How to Price Yourself

There's no magic formula, but here are some ballpark ranges based on follower count:

Followers POST STORY REEL VIDEO
1K - 10K $50 - $150 $25 - $75 $100 - $250 $200 - $500
10K - 50K $150 - $400 $75 - $200 $250 - $600 $500 - $1,200
50K - 100K $400 - $800 $200 - $400 $600 - $1,200 $1,200 - $2,500
100K+ $800+ $400+ $1,200+ $2,500+
These Are Just Guidelines

Your actual rates depend on more than follower count. High engagement? Charge more. Specialized niche that's hard to reach? Charge more. Great production quality? Charge more. These are starting points, not rules.

Factors That Justify Higher Rates

Location Settings

Set your country and (optionally) your city. This helps brands find creators in specific markets.

Note about privacy: Brands only see your country when browsing - not your exact location. Your city is only revealed after you accept a campaign.

Profile Completeness Checklist

Brands can filter by profile completeness. Complete profiles rank higher in search results. Make sure you've done all of these:

The Stripe Part Is Important

Brands are more likely to send campaigns to creators who can actually receive payment. Set up Stripe Connect (see Stripe Connect & Payouts) to show you're ready to work.
